Olympus Floating Camera Strap Red

I bought this camera strap for my Olympus 228060 TG-310 Digital Camera (Red) which is waterproof. I took a vacation to Puerto Rico earlier this summer, and knew I'd be taking the camera to the beach, snorkeling and kayaking. I wanted a trust worthy method to recover my camera if I dropped it in the water. This camera strap worked extremely well.

There is another very similar strap available on Amazon. There seems to be an issue with the buckle where the strap can unexpectedly detach from the camera and cause you to lose the camera. Not so with this one. I gave the strap several hard tugs to test is out and nothing came lose or broke. I felt very confident having this strap on my camera.

Other than that, the red strap is highly visible if you happen become separated from your camera in the water. You'll be able to easily find it. Also, the strap seems like it can hold a much heavier camera afloat with out problems.

I would highly recommend this strap if you intend to take pics in or around water. You won't have to worry about losing your investment.

If you have a waterproof camera, you MUST have a floating strap for it! It's way too big of an investment to risk losing.
