I have the habit of getting spare lens caps -- so, should I lose any of them, and that's an easy thing to do, I'll have a new one ready to take over -- and this is just like the original cap that came with my 50-200 mm SWD Olympus lens. An expensive lens, this is the one I use most, so damaging the glass in any way would be a disaster. Amazon sells it for a great price and I'm very happy with my purchase.

This was purchased as a replacement for a lost lens cap.
I thought that perhaps this would be a knock-off or slightly different than the original cap that came on my 14-54 lens.
It is the genuine replacement from Olympus (and cheaper than buying directly from Olympus). The only difference between this an my old one is a lack of scuff marks. The free 2-day shipping made this an even sweeter deal (replacing something like this carries a bit of urgency).
