I purchased this housing for the Olympus d-560 for a dive trip to St. Croix. It worked just fine. It never leaked and took wonderful pictures an a lot of below 100' dives. A lot better than any disposable camera would do. I just suggest getting to know the buttons on the camera and with the housing on before use. It worked well for me! Will be using it again soon!

This unit is ready to go out of the box.

I bought this housing to use in the Florida Keys. The camera's screen is too small to see anything underwater, and to make it worse the camera housing is reflective so you can't even see the screen! My camera almost over heated in the housing after about 15 minutes! I also found water droplets in the housing after use. If you don't go diving that much stick to disposables, or buy a camera that is built for underwater.

We purchased the UW Housing for our D560 in November 2004 (and paid a whole lot more than $70). The housing itself has continued to work great. My only comment is to make sure you have a silica pack or it will fog after about 30 minutes or so.

We have taken hundreds of pictures on dozens of dives and it really works well. It's a snap to get on and off. The camera itself we have never been in love with, so it makes it hard to really appreciate the whole package; but when just looking at the UW Housing...it is great!

This is a great product! The camera fits in the casing perfectly and it is totally watertight. We have taken hundreds of pictures of reefs and underwater wildlife with this setup and have never had any problems!

I bought this housing about five years ago and I use it regularly diving up to 120ft in salt water and it has never ever given me any problem. I do take care of it as it indicates in the manual, lubricate the o-ring with every use, insert a new silica pacage for the moisture and it has never failed me. Of the three housings that I own, this is the one I use the more often, probably it helps that the Camedia camera is the easiest more flexible camara that I own, and is amazing the quality of picture AND video it produces. I live in Costa Rica and dive in the Pacific coast very often, and if I were to own only one camara housing combination it will be the Camedia with this housing.

We live in Hawaii, and love being in the ocean. This camera housing works flawlessly. You can access every control for the camera from the outside. The photos are brilliant, and it has not leaked one time. Framing photos was a bit tricky to get familiar with, but I imagine that would be the case for anything 'underwater.' Once we got the hang of zooming in and out, the rest was magic. It works in and out of the water, so it also protects the camera against dirt, sand, and the elements. We don't go to the beach (or pool) without it.

No complaints, no problems - just works as promised. Rare to find that these days.

This item will make taking pictures in the water more difficult than the expenses incurred from buying the disposable waterproof cameras! Not a win situation for the environment here as it is a better option to use a disposable camera.
