Olympus Pictorico 13x19 in. Inkjet Canvas Paper (15 sheets)

I was looking for 13X19 cut sheets of canvas to put through my Canon i9900. I tried 3 different brands. Pictorico from Adorama here through Amazon, also Inkpress and Legion, both from B & H. The Pictorico was so thin, I could see right through it, before and after I had printed on it. This is not a canvas that can be stretched, or mounted to a board without showing its nasty back. The Inkpress had a wheat color back and was heavy. Unfortunately, it curled after printing and even more after sealing and glazing. I doubt that it will adhere to anything, but will probably stand up to stretching over stretcher boards. The Legion was by far the winner for me. It printed true, is a good weight for mounting or stretching, and the colors were rendered nicely. Given the small universe for cut sheet inkjet canvas, I hope this helps. BTW, the Pictorico was by far the most expensive of the three.

This is a good canvas for printing. I have done a number of paintings with my digital art, and find this produces good quality paintings.. When compared side by side, it renders the art deep and rich and the texture is very nice. The one downside of this is that it is quite thin, and the ink will show through completely on the other side. I would actually give it about 3 1/2 stars if possible. I tried to lower my rating but since it is an update, there doesn't seem to be any way to change it

I have used various canvas type material for trying to achieve a painting-like photo print over the years. With my Canon SLR digital camera, Photoshop CS2, Epson Stylus Photo R1800, and Pictorico canvas, finally amazing results. This canvas injet paper is so different from anything I have used. It travels through the printer without a problem and dries very fast. Colors are true to what is displayed on my calibrated monitor. I use the hard cardboard backing sheet that comes in the package at the back of the printer and use one sheet at a time. Framed prints are better than store bought.
