Just what we needed. This adds just a little cushion and without concern that our little guy can bury his head too far into it. He LOVES it and it immediately made a difference in putting him down and how long before he wakes.

I think that this item is just what it's explained to be. I hate how the crib mattresses are so hard/you feel the coils so much. I wanted some extra padding. This has helped...although I think that I would like one made that was a bit thicker...maybe a 3" topper.

Added comfort,

I didn't want to put a pillow in the crib in case of suffocation. This pad has added just enough softness to help my baby sleep better without the sense that he can smother himself in it when he flips onto his stomach. I can also put it on the floor in another room as a temporary place to nap. I would want one for my one bed.
