This carabiner strap is much more heavy-duty than I anticipated. This clip alone measures about 1" x 1.5" and has good, solid metal construction. The leather in the strap is probably the weakest link, and even that is designed in such a way that you could replace the leather without having to replace the entire clip.

I was looking for a way to make my camera extremely motorcycle friendly. Sometimes I want it around my neck, but I couldn't find a strap that was just the right length that would also be comfortable all day long. I also wanted to be able to connect it to my tank bag so I could easily click off pictures while I'm riding. The carabiner is the ideal solution, as it allows me to easily move my camera from a neck strap to a wrist strap to my tank bag with the ease of a quick-release but with far more durability. I've also been enjoying clipping it on my belt loop or backpack for hikes. This is a great all-around solution for all sorts of activities.

I liked this strap/carabiner so well, I put one on my camera and one on my cell phone. (fits on the little 'charm' holder) I seem to lose little items like these in public places and this strap attaches it directly to a belt loop so you CANNOT set it down to write a check, etc. and misplace or lose it.

What a great invention. Highly recommended. The blue strap is attractive and colorful without being brash or too bright.

This strap saved my new camera when our kayak flipped while kayak surfing off of the Windward Coast of Oahu. I used the clip to attach to my life jacket and tucked the camera into the vest. We took a roll and the camera stayed right where I put it. It is cheap "insurance" to protect an expensive piece of equipment.

This little clip is a must have. It is strong and it helps keep my camera safe while jet skiing. I would recommend this to everyone that is going to the extreme.

Works fine but felt it was grossly over priced for such a small common item. I would have looked for a "non brand name" clip if I had known before purchase.

I really like this carabiner. Like others said, it's really short though, especially the part that's supposed to be attached to the camera. I personally don't know how to loop this into the camera directly, the clip doesn't fit thru the loop attachment, so instead, I've attached it to our camera's existing straps, making it longer. Because of this, took 1* off.

While ziplining, I had the clip attached to strap of my tank top & the camera hanged freely during all the zips. Clipped it also to my bathing suit strap in the water (using waterproof camera).

My son has attached it to his Nintendo DS to attach to his belt loop & it's stopped the game console from falling from his pocket & crashing to the floor.

Great idea, but the loop needs to be a bit longer, though it works as it should. I'm looking at the pic of the black version & it looks like the loop is longer on that. Might order it to try it.

I was looking for a clip-on type of strap for my flash drive. This fit the bill. Classy look and made with durability in mind.

Great strap to keep hold of my camera with...I also use my Olympus in an underwater housing, but noted how easily I dropped the inner camera, and that had to be replaced. now I keep an extra strap handy!! Love my Olympus camera and accessories come to the rescue. thanks, Judy

The carabiner is too short. I would have liked it longer so that I could attach it to my camera and secure in pocket of jacket or pants so it wasn't dangling exposing picture viewing area to possible scratching or nicks. Having it longer would enable continued securing while taking pictures.

Good if you want to change out accessory straps, but the strap to camera section is a little flimsy for my taste.
