I almost didn't buy this product based on other reviews but boy am I glad I did. However, I am appreciative of the other reviews as it did forewarn me about the difficulty to scroll the wheel when the cover is on - which is true. However, it doesn't keep you from using the camera - particularly when you consider how infrequently you probably change those settings per use. Also, I found the toggle 'mouse' and other power buttons SUPER easy to use with the skin on. All and all, I give this little cover a 4.5 stars. Well worth the price. My only other suggestion has nothing to do with this product. I suggest buying a PDA ("palm piolot" or i-pod) type clear digital screen protector and cut it to fit the camera display and apply it to protect the screen.

This clear skin for the FE-230 does what it says. It offers a silicone protective covering. The silicone gives you a better grip, the camera doesn't feel like it wants to slip out of your hands. You need to take the skin off to access the battery/card slot. The cut out for the selection wheel makes it difficult to manipulate. The cut out should be on the other side so you can better move it with your thumb and a small cut out to show what mode you are on. With out the skin I have no problems with the mode wheel.

The silicone case does what I need it to do; keeps my camera from slipping out of my hands! I did cut off the silicone on the half of the selector dial on the back, because it made it difficult to change between settings. Easy to remove and put on, so taking the case off to upload my pictures is easy. I recommend this case, and especially the price I paid for it!

This product worked great for the first couple of months I had it. I dropped it, stuffed it in my purse near my car keys, and nary a scratch. However, I use the battery/USB slots a lot, and neither has an opening where you can access them, so I would take the whole cover off every time I wanted to re-charge my battery or upload pictures. By month 3 of this abuse, it completely tore in half. So if you don't use the camera often and don't need to re-charge a lot, or if you're willing to modify the silicone case to your needs, go for it. I'm considering getting another one myself, but will definitely take an Exacto knife to it this time around.

I did not receive the right product, the advertisement said "clear" skin, not PINK skin. I was very disappointed!!
