The 790 SW outfit has almost everything one needs to operate this dandy little camera. There is a spare battery and a charger, a neat little tripod, a 2 Gig card, a case, and a snazzy little item, a card reader. The only thing this kit lacks is the gel "skin" cover that increases water resistance and shock resistance.
Everything fits in the case and the camera, extra battery and a spare card can all fit in the outside pocket - very convenient. I have used the 790SW on a trip which included museums and trips across water with a city in the background. I have used it at my grandchildrens' basketball games. All the pictures turn out and most are of super high quality. This Camera is great!!!!!
I bought the water housing for it to and I have got allot of really great photos. I have had it down so far only to 30m. The light adjustment is not to bad. I have also taken it hiking and it takes great action shots. I went on one hike and ended up with over 2000 photos! The only problem I have had is I have been in the tropics and the humidity has caused some fogging on some of the photos, but that was only over a 2 day period and I had been using the camera allot!!! To the point where I crashed the second battery. I am overseas and will take it to the rep this week and they said not a problem, so yes I like my new camera!!! |
