This camera is easy to use. Only needed instructions on setting date. Film loaded easily. Compact and fun. Great camera for the price.

Easy to use, but very disappointing fuzzy pictures.,

Lousy autofocus - I replaced the camera once and the new one is no better. I am sick of fuzzy, hazy pictures! I consistently get MUCH better sharpness and quality with the Fuji SnapShot disposable cameras, as well as the Vivitar focus-free cheapie. Same shot, same time, same place they both put this camera to shame! Even with ASA400 or ASA800 film, the pictures typically turn out too dark and with poor contrast as well. If pictures are worth taking, they really should turn out better than this!

This was a gift purchase for my husband. He needed something simple for his racing adventures, but I wanted quality for the sake of good pictures. This camera delivers both. The view finder is easy to see through, which is great for someone with poor vision like my husband. The camera is small, easy to use, and easy to load with 35 mm film. Automatic advance and flash make it perfect for the novice, and takes the hassle out of candid shots. We do not have any complaints about this camera.

Olympus Trip Camera,

Well I actually won a camera exactly similar to the XB40... this one was the AF4000. I have just begun to use it and I really like it. Getting adjusted to a 35mm from a 110 was a little rocky, but all is well and atleast I dont have to worry about advancing the film. Overall this camera is nice, handy, small (but affective), and actually looks expensive, but isnt. I hope all enjoy the camera because I sure do.

Good camera, not as automatic as I'd thought,

This is a good camera: takes good pictures and has huge 'viewing lenses' (or whatever those are called) that worked great for my grandmother's bad eyesight. The film is not automatically rolled neither in - when you insert the film you have to take a few pictures and make sure that the small numbers are changing, which can be pretty hard without eye glasses - nor out when there are no pictures left. At least the rolling forward between pictures is automatic.

good camera but only worked for a year,

I got this camera last year for camp. It worked fine. The pictures were good but not the best. The pictures i took with it; didn't look like what it looked like when i took the shot. The pictures also had red eye. I continued to use it until recently when i brought it to camp again. This time the camera skipped pictures on the roll of film, and sometimes didn't work at all even with new batteries in it. Now my camera doesn't work, and i only had it for a year. But what can you ask for when you buy a ... camera.
