2 redeeming tracks,
By jimmy p (Boston, MA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Om Lounge 7 (Audio CD)
colossus "my former self" and mike tello's "barrio beats" are the two standout tracks on this album. the first will hypnotize you, the second will provide the perfect downtempto dance music for having people over. both are among the best tracks i've heard from OM. the rest are decent but not as noteworthy.

The Best Downtempo CD of the Year,
By Jay Bickham (Atlanta, GA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Om Lounge 7 (Audio CD)
If you love downtempo, ultra chill, bouncing beats, then this CD will rock you. It'is so smooth. Om Lounge cannot get better than this one. It would be a tough act to follow. I guar-an-tee!!!! I rank this one with Carte Blanche 2 and Aquanote. There maybe one piece on this CD that would get 3.5 out of 5 stars, and that cut really isn't that bad. The person who buys this CD based on my review, will thank me. I guar-an-tee!!!! Peace!

I found nothing of interest in this collection. Many of the tracks used the little trick of recording someone speaking in a normal voice throughout the "song." Not rapping, just speaking. How boring is that? Did the producers imagine that this is clever?
Volume 10 is quite good. This one is a waste.
