Magnificent. I don't speak a word of Hindi and really can't stand seeing the sight of Shahrukh Khan in every 2nd Bollywood film, but with this soundtrack, it really doesn't matter. This is beautiful music that translates well into any language.One knows exactly what words were meant when you listen to the expressive voices of the singing talent acquired for this soundtrack.

I don't recognise recognize the artists here, but I must say, the musical range being showcased here is outstanding and the singers are amazing.

Hinishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, who composed the soundtrack, have created some of the most exciting music I've experienced in film. The music just sticks with you. Mixing contemporary styles with orchestral and traditional Indian melodies makes this music accessible to just about anyone with an open mind to music.

This CD won't please everyone; particularly those fussy about remixed cuts being thrown into the soundtrack as filler on the disc. But the main body of tracks on display here is some of the most memorable music I've heard in years.

I'm not even a big fan of Bollywood, but I liked this soundtrack.
Great sound quality with bonuses like a remix of "Dard e Disco". Great music to energize the drive to work or for a workout (feel the "pain of disco"). Worth the price.

Product arrive on time, however, I was clearly sent a used movie complete with several scratches. The case was glued shut. Movie plays ok but when you pay for a NEW movie, I would think that is what you should be getting.

This CD is AWESOME! Worth your money!

The only negative thing I will say about it, is the fact that Tracks 8+ are all mixes of the songs before that. I don't like the mixes, I would rather listen to the REAL songs than the mixes.

I am sure that this soundtrack would stand alone just fine. But, as is the case with lots of movie soundtrack albums, listening to the songs and visualizing them as they were done in the film make this a TREMENDOUSLY great album I play over and over. My first Bollywood film, Om Shanti Om is now one of my favorite movies ever, and the music is a big part of that. Mind it!!! :)

I can't stop dancing to this! What's not to like with a song like Dard-E-Disco ( the PAIN of disco, LOL)...... and the dance sequence from the movie is sure to be a classic. It's Bollywood at its best. Every track is good. I even like the remixes. Fun, start to finish.

I've been collecting classic and modern Bollywood and Bhangra music for a few years now and this soundtrack is by far one of my favorites. I loved the Om Shanti Om soundtrack so much that I went to see the film when it played at an "art house" film venue in my town. It was amazing! Anyway, back to the music/cd. I would recommend this cd to anyone who is curious about Bollywood music or is just looking for something new and upbeat to add to his or her collection. If you find yourself a bit unsure, start by downloading the tracks Dard-e-Disco, Deewangi Deewangi, and Dhoom Taana. Those are the ones that convinced me purchase the entire cd. These tracks are also great to work-out to. If you like fun, bouncy music, world music, and a little bit of cheesy-glam goodness, this cd is for you.

I bought this film because I was hosting a Bollywood Party. This film has all the elements of Bollywood movies. It crosses every genre possible. Action, romance, comedy, thriller, horror, espionage, dance.. it's crazy, bright and brilliant. The music is well created, the sets are huge, the storyline is epic-sized. If you never have seen a Bollywood film this would be a perfect introduction!
