Based on author's comments about balancing Omega 3:Omega 6 ratio, I tried to find out just how much omega 6 is there in organic & non-organic milk.

Called up Horizon Milk and they said - our cows are mostly grass fed but unless u buy the DHA Omege 3 supplemented milk, regular Horizon doesn't have any Omega 3 or 6s! Their DHA Omega 3 certified milk is supposed to have Omega 3 but no Omega 6

Called up Lucerne - asked them about their rBST free non-organic milk. Cows are almost totally fed corn etc. But interestingly she claimed there is no Omega 6 in their milk!

Now I am confused as David Servan-Schreiber indicates inorganic milk products can be a major src of Omega 6.

Are some of these milk companies not telling the truth ?

Milk is not butter. Curious nevertheless.

Samuel says:

That lady from Lucerne is wrong. Corn is high in omega-6, corn fed cow will eventually produce milk rich in omega-6
