4.0 out of 5 stars Good Start
This is a good start to what seems to be a promising title. It seems a bit rushed at times and that's because it had to be re-written at the last minute when Marvel decided to make this a mini instead of an ongoing. All-in all, a good start with plenty of winks to old school Alpha Flight fans.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent
While, I personally enjoyed the book, the storyline seemed a bit rushed and wasn't exactly clear on what was happening. I thought the art was great though, overall if you are curious about whats happening in Canada after the recent Marvel Civil War events then you might want to pick it up.

I enjoyed this comic so much. To have such unique Marvel characters like Beta Ray Bill, the Guardian,U.S. Agent and more made it trully worthwhile.
During Civil War the wrecking crew goes to Canada to cause havok Alpha flight now Omega Flight with new recruts fight to stop them. I recommend this book to Beta Ray Bill, U.S. Agent and Alpha Flight fans.

Anything published by Marvel that has "Flight" at the end of it is pure gold. Don't argue

"Omega Flight: Alpha To Omega"
Written by Michael Avon Oeming
Illustrated by Scott Kolins
(Marvel Comics, 2007)
------------------------------------------------------
This book is an attempt to tie Marvel's stable of Canadian second-stringers into the events of the whole Civil Bore/Secret Invasion mega-crossovers. If superpowered chaos reigns in the United States, how will Canada protect itself from the blowback? By boring us to death, apparently. I was drawn to this by the presence of Michael Avon Oeming, whose artwork work on "Powers" I really admire; here, as a scriptwriter, he kind of falls flat, although in his defense he was dealt kind of a losing hand on this one. Any title with US Agent in it is going to suffer regardless of who is working on it. Ditto with most of the other characters involved: it's really hard to care about them, and in order to ramp up our understanding of who all these nobodies are and why we should care, Oeming has to resort to Claremont-ian levels of over-exposition, which doesn't really help. The main draw comes from the bad guys, as the thuggish Wrecking Crew decides to cross the border up North and see if Canada is more fun to destroy than New York. This gives artist Scott Kolins the chance to slather lots of blood, spurting from noses and mouths of all the characters: yawn. But even the shenanigans of the Wrecking Crew aren't enough to sustain an increasingly banal story arc -- although one could argue that this banality is itself a fitting tribute to the original Alpha Flight series, which wasn't very good to begin with. Do I sound negative and sour? I should -- I wish I could get back the time I spent reading this semi-snoozy story. (Axton)

1.0 out of 5 stars What???!!!! What just happened?, February 9, 2008
This review is from: Omega Flight: Alpha to Omega (New Avengers) (Paperback)
This is bad... really bad...It starts out simple (something about protecting Canda's boarders from supers), but then explodes into chaos about demons and the "horse thor." It's alot of fighting and sasquash is barely in it. Pretend it never happened.
