Product Description

It begins where PPM ended…

Omega thrusts us into a global war against crazed men who have rekindled the toxic nightmare in our seas. With humanity facing extinction, Dr. Karl Frankton overcomes his demons to fight a last-ditch battle reaching from the White House to the Nile Delta, Hindu Kush, and finally to Geneva where the planet’s most powerful particle collider is about to launch us into the unknown.

Since leaving the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, Gary Naiman has walked the razor’s edge between fact and fiction. If you want a whole lot of action, a touch of cyanide, and a chilling glimpse of the future, Omega will not disappoint.

Mr. Naiman’s other thrillers include PPM, The Tenth Avatar, Storm Rising, The Response, and From the Void.

PPM and Omega are under consideration for motion pictures

Omega

This is a story about people using an unintended product of invention as a weapon for terrorism. A chemical compound is invented, and then over time that compound changes into a very dangerous potential weapon. The premise is real enough to create some thought about what is going on in a world where technological advances are coming at us so fast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long-awaited sequel to PPM, April 28, 2009
This review is from: Omega (Kindle Edition)
I'd been waiting impatiently for this sequel to Naiman's book, PPM, and I wasn't disappointed. The main character is interesting and not too "goody-goody" which helps the story. I would recommend taking this and the first book along on vacation. The length of both novels makes them the right length to read while relaxing at the beach.

4.0 out of 5 stars Corporate greed could be apocalyptic?, July 3, 2010

Short read with action akin to the TV program "24 Hours". Action is virtually non-stop and in a global context. Lots of scientific jargon, i.e., not a romance novel, but heavy action / adventure with a forboding atmosphere throughout. I have read several of Naiman's book's and what I like is the use of many locales around the world in all his writings. Nice to do some armchair traveling. Omega is a follow-up to P.P.M. which is easier to follow and should be read first.

More About the Author

Gary Naiman brings a unique blend of imagination and experience to his writing. His background in the entertainment and scientific communities provides his readers with a devil's concoction of factual depth and intriguing possibilities.
"I admit to stretching things a bit, but please remember that today's fiction is tomorrow's headlines."

"I write as if I'm projecting a movie. I believe that is what my readers want."

Mr. Naiman has written five novels-- STORM RISING, THE TENTH AVATAR, P.P.M. (Parts-per-Million), OMEGA (P.P.M.'s sequel), and THE RESPONSE (the first installment of his new science fiction trilogy, THE KERRY CHRONICLES). All are listed on Kindle, and two are being considered for motion pictures.

He lives in Southern California with his wife, Margaret, and family size cat, Huxley, where he manages some travel, golf, and boating while conceiving his latest story.
