Omega

This is a story about people using an unintended product of invention as a weapon for terrorism. A chemical compound is invented, and then over time that compound changes into a very dangerous potential weapon. The premise is real enough to create some thought about what is going on in a world where technological advances are coming at us so fast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long-awaited sequel to PPM, April 28, 2009
This review is from: Omega (Kindle Edition)
I'd been waiting impatiently for this sequel to Naiman's book, PPM, and I wasn't disappointed. The main character is interesting and not too "goody-goody" which helps the story. I would recommend taking this and the first book along on vacation. The length of both novels makes them the right length to read while relaxing at the beach.

4.0 out of 5 stars Corporate greed could be apocalyptic?, July 3, 2010

Short read with action akin to the TV program "24 Hours". Action is virtually non-stop and in a global context. Lots of scientific jargon, i.e., not a romance novel, but heavy action / adventure with a forboding atmosphere throughout. I have read several of Naiman's book's and what I like is the use of many locales around the world in all his writings. Nice to do some armchair traveling. Omega is a follow-up to P.P.M. which is easier to follow and should be read first.
