Jim Coleman does a great job of keeping the reader engaged -you'll want to read til you finally finish the last page. You will never look @ ice cream the same way again...without a doubt.

Book in perfect condition most likely because it was a literary bomb and the first buyer didn't read it either.

Not just another 'werewolf' book--,
By Linda Weber (Port Orchard, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Omens (Paperback)
If you love a good 'creepy' werewolf story, this is definitely for you! The cover and title of the book says it very well, a dark story of Cliff Rilek- an innocent boy who, through a sad, and sometimes brutal, series of events, grows up to be the neighborhood predator, using his 'natural' animal instincts as a werewolf to stalk and attack his unsuspecting victims to fulfill his own demented goal. Omens, both good and bad, are found throughout, adding a bit of the paranormal, yet this a very believable story, which makes it an even more scary story. Very well written, there are several story lines going at once, the werewolf, the victims, and those determined to solve the mystery and end the crime spree, once and for all. This book does a great job of keeping the reader engaged -you'll want to read til the wee hours of the morning! One thing is certain, you'll never look at ice-cream trucks the same way again! |
