Setup is easy and it's very sturdy. the mount is a vesa compliant so it should fit most tvs. The vertical bracket is very solid and heavy. It looks really modern and nice.

Please note that the bracket fits inside the cabinet thus the 15 1/2 depth is further reduced by around 3 inches. The overall depth is only around 12 so be sure to check your electronics if it fits.

The biggest drawback is you need to put a safety cable which requires putting a hole in your wall. the reason for this is the cabinet is too narrow and the TV is too tall that it has a tendency to fall over.

I got this one after searching for a long time for a simple TV stand that would help hide cables... And of course at first glance you can't help but think this might not be the best choice. After drooling over the non-Flat Panel mount version http://www.amazon.com/OmniMount-Echo-50-Video-Table/dp/B001523EGY/, which comes with the channels on the back side to hide cables, I pulled the trigger on this one, not even checking to see if it had the same carved out channels... Which it DOES NOT have the same cable hiding capabilities - though the metal bars that hold the TV do allow for the wires to be dropped into, I have speakers (Front R/L, and Center) for my 5.1 surround that sit on the top of the stand, and without the cool little carved cable channels, its hard to get the speaker wires to hid. I used small pieces of tape to anchor the wires to the back of the stand, and then drilled a hole at the top level of the metal bars to drop the wires to the lower level. After this mod, its nearly seamless.

Construction was a snap. Even with a mild back injury I was able to complete this alone, even mounting my 42" LG HD TV. It came with an OPTIONAL wall anchor, others have stated this was a necessity, though with my TV, even pulling forward on the top of the TV it doesn't feel the slightest bit unstable. Perhaps at a larger, heavier, older and fatter 50" you may have a problem.

Though pressed board, the construction of the pressed board is multi-layered and multi-directional. Which increases the strength and durability. Compared to other 'pressed board' or MDF units at the same price, that you might find in a furniture store, or walmart, I feel this is a superior quality.

The only downside is that its so clean and sleek I think I need to replace my couches now :-)

I looked forever for a piece of furniture that looked beautiful, would allow me to get my TV to have that floating feeling without having to rip holes in the wall of my rented apartment.

This piece is it, and it's an amazing find, especially when you consider the price! You get AV furniture, TV mount and cable management, all in one piece. Most importantly, the viewing height is perfect for sitting on the couch. Those of you with your TVs high up on your walls don't know what you're missing watching on this.

I mounted my 52" Sharp LCD on here and it's the exact perfect width and is sturdy as can be.

Great TV stand. It is a little darker than the picture shows, but I am very happy with it. The instructions I received were not the best, but it is still relatively easy to assemble. It is not solid wood, but the particle board is much more sturdy than I expected. It also does not really look like pressed wood either. I have a 40" Samsung LCD and it looks perfect. I would definietely recommend this product-great price.

Pros: the stand looks beautiful and seems sturdy enough. It seems very hard to topple, at least with my 37" TV, even without attaching it to the wall.

Cons: my 37" TV is VESA compliant and within the range of sizes covered by this product (32-50"), so I assumed that it would fit. However, same as another reviewer, I found that it didn't fit properly because the bracket doesn't have the holes in the right places. A careful reading of the stand's description says "VESA compliant: 200x200, 200x400, 200x600, 300x300, 300x400, 400x400, 400x600, 400x800". Those are the dimensions of the rectangle formed by the screws on the back of the TV, in millimeters. It turns out that my TV has a 500x300 pattern. My fault for not reading more carefully, but I do wonder why the manufacturer didn't just put two more holes in each bracket to be able to fit more TVs (they have, 200, 300, 400, 600, and 800 mm. What does it cost them to add 500 mm?). I fixed the problem by drilling the necessary holes myself and it works perfectly. (It probably invalidates the warranty, though.)

Bottom line: unless you are willing to do some drilling, measure your TV's mounting system carefully or look up the exact dimensions in your TV's manual before you buy.

I was looking for a low profile table and this is nice and skinny to fit in my narrow living room. Has a very good build quality. Took me about an hour to assemble. A good buy!

This tv stand looks great and is pretty sturdy BUT I have a 50" Panasonic Viera s30 and the power cable is in the way of installing the tv on the mount so if you have this tv and want to hang it I would look elsewhere. Unless you're like me and just set the tv on the top cause you're to lazy to return it.

Permanent holes in the wall and electricity for the flat screen was freaking me out, and for $164.23 and free shipping this table and stand was the answer. The only thing extra needed to construct is a phillips screwdriver. I put this together myself last night and only needed another pair of hands to line up the second shelf and for the TV mount. Our TV is 46" LCD, and there was no need for a hole in the wall as I chose not to do the optional anchor. So impressed for the amount of money paid.

This stand has best of both worlds, Form & Function. I was literally surprised by how well this was designed and constructed. Even though it's made of pressed board (particle board) it is completely SOLID about 4-6" thick solid and heavy. The finish is beautiful. In addition to all this it was easy to build. I have 37" Vizio, the way the brackets are built(the way the screws line up with the holes in my TV) the TV is a bit off center(very slight). I intend to buy a bigger TV that will fix that problem. Aside from that this is probably the best Stand you will get for your money aesthetically at least. Oh and by the way the legs are CHROME METAL...WOW

I love the stand because it is so sleek and of great craftsmanship. I was surprised that the wood was so thick. For some reason I thought it would be a little less. I was going for the minimalist look, and the frame turned out to be the bulkiest piece of furniture in the house, but I still love it so it stayed.
