Ordered this piece on Dec 5th and by March 3rd it was destroyed.
This stand was placed in my bedroom and was used to hold my Sony 26 TV.
I was fast asleep when all of a sudden I was startled awake by loudest
bang I have ever heard. When I sat up in bed and saw pieces of glass rolling off the comforter and saw what caused the noise, I could not believe it.
The middle shelf actually exploded and threw glass shards all over my bedroom. The only thing I can think caused the shelf to do this is my Directv box sat on that shelf. The Directv box hardly puts out any heat but then again this product is supposed to be used this way. Very disappointed that Sharp would put out a product that could have caused serious injuries if someone was standing near the shelf when it happened. (see picture above)

Based on price to quality/appearance ratio this stand is a great deal and probably worthy of at least a 4 star review and if I didn't have to assemble it myself I would have gladly given it 5 stars however, the assembly process was so bad and was far to complicated and time consuming. This is due to a poorly written manual with diagrams that didn't make sense, parts packaged by number but labeled in diagrams by letters, to which you had to cross reference a chart at the beginning of the manual. Additionally, half of the parts are packaged without any numbers or letters yet the step-by-step diagram references letter/number combos. Rubber rings around cord management openings are worthlessly flimsy and useless as they don't stay in place and don't go back in place after cords have been put in place. Although, mounting screws come in both short and long styles, the short screws were still to long to mount my t.v. so I had to use metal washers (3 on each screw, not included either) in order to complete mounting
Bottom line, I eventually got it fully assembled, although it took forever due to the manual copied from a cave wall in Ancient Egypt. Despite its small size it manages to fit all of my components on the bottom 2 shelves with room to spare, Cable box, PS3, Wii, cable modem and wireless router and it doesn't look cluttered. Looks great, and quality is surprisingly good but because of the assembly process I will have me think twice before purchasing this or similar product again without having it delivered assembled.

this stand is very difficult to put together. the instructions do not have words and the glass and some of the other parts are not numbered or labeled like it is in the directions. stand is make of hollow and very thin metal. it is not as robust as i thought it would be. overall a good product. it is worth the money for sure. the tv can be mounted or placed on top of the top shelf or mounted on the wall with the stand below. mine is mounted the way it is in the product picture. i feel that it is sturdy enough a i do trust it to hold my $800 32inch flat screen. i would say any tv over 32inches would look very big for the stand. this stand improves the overall beauty of the room and tv itself. has plenty of room for an xbox and dvd players. only cons i can find is the front oval tubes being very thin. pros are the functionality of the stand being able to swivel and the brass rods that hold it all together inside the oval tubes, comes with multiple sets of screws that will fit your tv and a set of screws for the wall itself. overall a good product.

Same product in a retail store sells for around $200 plus $18 in sales tax, on Amazon same great product, delivered to my door was a savings of about $70, High quality good looking modern stand for your 32" flat screens,put it together alone and easily in 30 minutes

After reading the reviews here, I was a bit concerned that the directions would be impossible to follow. While it's true that there's very few words and most of the instructions are in pictures, it was easy to put together. The smaller parts (nuts, bolts, washers, etc) are packaged individually and have part numbers printed on the plastic packaging. As long as you're careful to match the part to the part number shown in the instruction drawings, you should have no problems. The only thing we found a bit unclear starting out is that initially you're assembling the table upside down. Therefore, the shorter shelf supports should be used first and the longer supports second. Next, the legs are attached and you turn the table upright. This way the lower shelves have the larger spacing as is shown in the photo here.

My husband and I put this stand together in less than an hour, including attaching our flat screen tv. The stand is very sturdy and the quality is great. It has a sleek, modern look which is just what we wanted. Highly recommend!

I have a tiny corner that I wanted a flat panel placed in. I searched for a while and finally found this stand. It worked perfect and was a great buy at the price. Easy to assemble and has been working great since I put it together. It should come with its own duster....black glass shelves tend to collect everything :-).

I needed a clean, small, good quality, sophisticated looking table to place my new flat screen 37" TV and I also wanted it to be hanging like in the walls...
I did read some reviews here that describe it as being hard to assemble but for me it was quick and easy.

This stand is sturdy, functional, and attractive. it fits perfectly for a small corner that we have. The 30* swivel is helpful, as well. Some reviews have listed this as challenging to assemble, and I will say that there were a lot of pieces. I am rather handy, and this still took me about 45 minutes to assemble, so maybe not for the faint of heart. However, the results are worth the effort.

Great stand and a great value. I have a 32" tv and it looks great and is easy to turn on the swivel mount. I read the other reviews about the instructions and while they're not the best instructions, the pictures are accurate. It did not take long to assemble. I would recommend this product.

I must admit I was hesitant to purchase this product because of all the warnings of the difficulties in assembling this product. Thanks for the warning. I went ahead with the purchase because it was such a great price. Once it arrived, very swiftly, I waited for the day when my patience was at it's peak. Yes, indeedy I needed it. They seem to skip a step here and there but you figure it out as it goes. Now we love it. We use it in our "game room" and couldn't be happier. Very sturdy design and sleek too.
