Omnigrip Non-Slip Diamond Free Quilter's Ruler is made especially for quilting sewing and crafting projects. Can be used with rotary cutters or straight edge blades. Made for left or right handed use. Features a clear background and neon lines. Highlighted edge for trimming and no confusing angle markings. Ruler measures: 20.5 by 20.5 inches.

I do a lot of applique and find this large square is perfect for cutting out the large background squares. I am constantly using it . . . don't know how I managed without it and wouldn't give it up now that I own it! And like all Omnigrid products, it is excellent quality and very easy to use. 20 1/2" is a perfect size since you can cut two from one 44" width of fabric, and I find a number of applique quilts (like several from Blackbird Designs and Jan Patek) are based on 20" completed size squares. But you can easily cut nonsquare and smaller pieces using this ruler as well. I had a 16" square before buying this but found it was often too small for my needs. Better too large than too small!

I love this larger square. I have smaller ones, but this makes it so easy to measure longer fabrics.

I could not find this ruler in the stores. I needed it to finish a quilt with blocks that measured 16 1/2". I love it. Great addition to my collection of quilting rulers. Keep on quilting!
