This is the best product on the market for mounting speakers. Once you tighten the clamp, it's locked for good and does not slip. It comes in many more configurations than this particular unit and for weights ranging from 5 lbs to 240 lbs+ I believe. The included bolts were probably a bit of overkill (3" long, 5/16" diameter) so be careful you don't punch into an adjacent room when you're mounting the bracket....
