I'm hanging a heavy JVC 42" TV on this mount. I'm very impressed with the quality of the build, the ease with which the TV can be moved into almost any position and the rock solid feel it has. I think my TV is 80 lbs and I was worried about hanging something like this from a cantilever but I can't rate this mount high enough. Very, very nice and worth every penny.

I spend 6 hours mounting this thing to a 40" Sony LCD (KDL 2500V). The most difficult part is figuring out the correct height (it was to go to the bedroom/office, so the tv could be seen from the counch in front of the bed, from the office chair and the bed itself). All the 6 hours were spent making sure everything was tidy and looking professionally installed. This also includes hiding the cables and wires to the receiver/HTPC and also installing the speaker mounts (side and center). My wife loved the end result, and now wants every tv on the house to have the same functionality. It looks and feels strong, and it has plenty of space to hide all the wires, on the sides and under the arm covers. Just drill a hole in the plastic cover on the wall and finish it with a dremel and voila. Looks great.

Best mount in it's price range. Part of a system including front and center channel mounts. Includes all hardware. The instructions were not very helpful, but if you study the mount, your TV, and your mounting location prior to starting, you'll be fine. You will need a helper to assist in lifting this thing while you are actually bolting it to the studs in your wall. It is very heavy and sturdy. I had a tricky installation in a tight corner, and this mount worked perfectly. I got all the key measurements, angles, etc., form the manufacturer's web site.

We purchased this product, after a lot of research and found that the price was the best! Also, we did not expect to get it for a few days, but it showed up the next morning. The installation was easy and it does not look as bulky as other wall mounts. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a secure wall mount. Also, it provides a lot of different ways to hide all of the cords.

This review is my first on Amazon. It is for the Omnimount UCL-L Black 26" To 45" Large Flat Panel Cantilever Mount. We purchased this for the family room to mount a 40" Sony flat panel to the right side of our fireplace. Hanging a tv above the fireplace is generally too high and get be hard on the neck. We attached this cantilever mount to three studs on the wall in less than 1/2 hour which included adding the television to the mount. This setup allows the tv to be pulled out away from the cabinet far enough that we can turn it in any direction we need. Our general contractor was quite impressed with the quality as well.

The instructional manual needs to be more detailed.

We highly recommend this item. Due to the bankruptcy sale at Circuit City, it was listed at 30% off an over $600 sale price not including sales tax. We saved quite a bit by purchasing it through Amazon plus the option of return if we needed to. Very pleased with this purchase and product.

After reading reviews of several mounts, I decided to buy this one. My decision was influenced by having two Labrador retrievers and a new granddaughter. Staying on the wall, on the mount was job one. Excellent quality and very rugged construction. I did not need the univeral mount for my 40" samsung. Versa 200 x 200 or smaller does not require the universal adapter. Be sure to get the lag bolts into the center of the stud as you will be making large holes. The quality remains long after the price is forgotten. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent product, clear instructions. Appears durable. We're in earthquake country here, and our monitor will stay on the wall unless the wall comes down. More than worth the higher price paid.

I have installed many and this is the only one I would recommend. Two arm mount needed for larger tv. I mounted 37 inch on one arm mount.

This is a very solid TV mount with all the advertised functionality. Installation was relatively simple, although some parts of the installation manual were not the easiest to follow (but fortunately it is a basic process so the manual wasn't critical to the success of the installation).

I feel very confident that this mount will carry the weight of the TV even when the cantilever arm is fully extended from the wall.

This is a more expensive mount than the generic versions, but considering the value of the TV that it will be used to mount, I preferred to pay more for a branded product that I would have the most confidence in.

Pros: Showed up quickly and was easy to install. Super solid construction. Had several different sized screws for all kinds of differenct TVs. Had no problem installing with my TV.

Cons: The mount doesn't lock in tightly after reinstalling the bottom bracket to keep it from falling off during a major earthquake. It's not going to fall off, that's for sure, but I can rotate the TV from horizontal to vertical with almost no effort so anytime anything touches it, the thing gets out of level. Connecting a USB drive will move it out of level. It would be nice if it held it's horizontal position a bit tighter. There are adjustment screws for all the other things you might want to adjust, but the rotation needs a bit of work.
