I like the thin size and large digits. No codes to set, just slide the little chip in with a new box of test strips.

It seems to work fine, more advanced than most of the more common meters being used. This one also uses a lot less blood, and is easy to use. I like it quite well so far.

Pay attention to the expiration dates on test strips, though. I bought mine on eBay, and the 500 strips it shipped with all expire in a week. Tech support tells me that the meter won't accept them once they're expired, so I'd probably have to set the date back a year just to make do. That's not a smart move, if you're Type-1.

this is my second meter. my daughter was recently diagnosed and I ordered this one for her. This meter is very easy to use, the test strips are not expensive, and I like the fact that it talks. I don't have to stand there and wait for a visual reading. I am Type 1 diabetic and I buy my strips from Ebay sellers also, but the first thing I check, especially if the price is unbelievably low, is the expiration date of strips. If expiration date is not noted, then I don't buy. Simple. All in all, I would highly reccommend this meter to others.

I've been using the Omni Embrace meter for a couple of months now, and it's fine... when it works. On several occasions, it's given me an "error 4, not enough sample" message when there was plenty of blood, and it sucked it up normally. I found out the hard way that it will continue to waste new strips with an "error 4" message until you remove the batteries and go through the whole setup bit all over again. Only then, will it quit wasting strips with an error 4 message. I would not recommend this meter to anybody!

Bought Embrace Blood Glucose Meter and every reading is very, very high compared to the actual blood glucose done with blood drawn by the lab at the same time. I threw the Embrace meter away and would recommend everyone compare their meter readings with actual blood drawn by the lab. I think more effort went into bells and whistles than in accuracy of the meter.

I received this meter a few weeks ago and have been very satisfied by its performance. I tested it against my previous meter and found the results to be within one or two points each time out. The voice readings are not necessary for my situation, but they are clear and precise so that someone who neads them would be happy with the technology. Overall this meter is quite fine and the test strips are about 1/4 the cost of some of the "name" brands.

This was a second meter and it was all over the place in its readings. They were not consistant with my A1c nor with a primary meter. Not only that, but readings taken a couple of seconds apart on the Embrace meter were wildly different -- like 80 points different. This meter was easy to use, but the sound feature was not particularly attractive to me, as the display had a nice large displayed number...but the fact that it spoke every time made testing in public kind of a pain.

Can't recommend this meter.

I purchased my Omnis Embrace meter about a year ago and it still works great I really like the ease of use and small sample required the only down fall to me is the how unavailable the company makes the USB cable for the meter I have contacted Omnis 3 times about this issue and still have not been able to get a straight answer as to where I can order the cable for this meter, I would rate the meter 5 stars but since their customer support has been use less I am going to give it a 3 star rating.

You cannot beat the price of supplies for this meter.

It seems odd to me that you can find all the supplies other then the USB cable very easily.

This was a good purchase. The product came as promised. I would use this vender again. I would recomend this product and vender.

This meter for me is not as easy to use the way I read it. I am new to this so maybe that is the reason. I was very surprised and disappointed that the test strips were not included. After it arrived, I had to take additional time and order test strips. I went to my local stores to see if I could order these strips, but I could not find them locally. That is a drawback to me.
