Being at the bottom range (9") of the standard size cuff (9-13") my wife could not get a consistent reading from her BP Monitor. Switching to the smaller cuff made a world of difference. Now her readings are consistent and match the readings taken by her physician.

I purchased this blood pressure monitor several months ago as my doctor suggested that I begin keeping track of my B.P. readings due to some concerns that he had that I might be needing B.P. medicine. This unit worked great from day one. I took my B.P. first thing in the morning and again in early evening. Luckily the results were good and no meds are currently required. But I still use the unit every day as it gives me a feeling of security knowing that if anything starts to go wrong, I'll be aware of it immediately. The cuff itself works better than I expected. Had tried different cuffs at my local drugstore and they were terrible. But this particular Omron cuff is really comfortable to use, and is much cheaper than the units offered in the drugstore. I'm really pleased with this purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing B.P. monitoring.

This product does not fit the Omron HEM-711 DLX Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with Comfit Cuff. The specifications are very mis-leading. In the process of returning.

Child BP cuff that fits the automatic Omron blood pressure monitor that comes with an adult sized cuff. Excellent for nurses that deal with children because it is very quick and easy to take their BP and pulse and is very accurate. I use it daily!

Product as described. My only problem is that Omron doesn't have a universal fitting on all of their monitors for their cuffs. You have to buy a specific monitor for this cuff.

I ordered this cuff to go with the Omron Monitor I had recently
purchased. Received Feb. 22nd,2010. Big problem. It's connector did not fit to my monitor,
so I had to return it, to Health-tex [the supplier].
It's been two weeks and I have yet to hear from them, or get my
refund. I did get a confirmation of delivery from the postal service.

It has now been close to a month and still nothing from Health-tex other than one sentence wanting to know who I spoke with in their
customer service. I answered, they haven't.

My Omron 711 is inconsistent all the time, varying by 30-40 points. After being checked out by a doctor, he said to never use it again. It was "repaired" by Omron under warranty (YOU pay for shipping BOTH ways) and was deemed to be in working order. Still doesn't work. Now they're saying that you need to replace the cuff EVERY year! See the price here, $25. That's the additional cost they never mention. Apparantly they use the worst rubber in the world in these things.

We had bought the expensive OMRON BP Machine and I used it for some time with acceptable results. However the software is VERY poor and even with their attempts to help via phone, getting satisfactory enough results to give my cardiologist were never possible under WINDOW 7. Had to go to old laptop with XP to get it to work. Tech admitted they were not getting good results under W7, even with XP emulation. ALSO the Results read from the machine in real-time, did not match the readings for same time/date in the Program. We had to send it back "for Calibration" (You pay shipping both ways!) and it came back with statement "Calibration OK, Return to sender".
Thanks folks, AND they had no current solution or in the works.

Later, the Wife (not a "twiggy") had a Stent put in and tried to use the machine with the supplied cuff, with insufficent closing of the cuff to get a reading (Unless I manually stuck my fingers under it (at smallest setting) to get one. Called again they said we "needed a new cuff.. probably not tight enough.." (Like we didn't know that?), so we ordered one and same problem with new cuff. Despite warrantee in effect ("cuffs excluded" if over a certain time)- Return would have been almost the price of the cuff so gave it away and bought a $69 CVS BP machine one which works perfectly for both of us and has great software - even under W7!!
