Easy operation with just the right memory capability, 2 persons x 21 readings each, makes it handy for my wife & I to keep tabs on our bp & pulse. Takes less than a minute to complete a reading.

Works well, looks great, memory lasts a month, easy to read and understnad, instructions are easy to follow and are user friendly. Keeps memory for 2 people which is great for couples. The cuff is larger and stays on without being too tight and reestrictive. recommend this highly!!

I have been using this monitor for my mother's high blood pressure (and mine too) for the past few years. It is a great indicator of pressure although I agree that the cuff is, at first, different to use. My Mom's arm is small but it still takes readings similar to my nonelectric and what we get at the doctor's office. Remember, though, you should wait at least 3 minutes between readings - taking it sooner will result in false readings as you have collasped the artery and need to wait for it to recover before taking it again - also, don't cross your legs and don't hold your breath. The memory feature is also great and once you figure out how to put the cuff away, it is compact and easily travels. Recommend!

This montior is great. First of all, it is very easy to put on by myself because of the way the armband is constructed. Second, it is fast. Takes less than 30 seconds to obtain readings. Third, the readout is quite large and easy to read. Fourth, it automatically stores the last 21 readings and will do it for 2 different people. The first readings taken with it correlated well with readings at my doctor's office, so I assume it's accuracy is good. All in all, I think this was a great buy.

Having taught medical school for many years, I've always been interested in new technology. This home monitor works well, is convenient and correlates well with pressures measured with a sphygmomanometer. Remember to take your blood pressure at different times a day - it varies! Also, follow directions for posture and relaxation - it will make a difference.

I had been on the lookout for a blood pressure monitor for some time now - I used to own a portable and somewhat gimmicky machine whose readings were all over the place. I bought the HEM-773AC after I saw it used at my doctor's office and also in the hospital.

Very easy to use, consistent and accurate readings. I have compared the measurements from this unit with and old-fashioned manual mercury sphygmomanometer read by my father (a doctor). Readings were identical. That level of accuracy and the ease of use are all I care about.

Highly recommended, and a must have in every household.

I've used Omron Auto inflate Blood Pressure Monitors for about 20 years. This my second unit. The units are very accurate, durable, and as a rule easily used. This new unit has a semi pre-formed cuff which I find harder to get properly fitted on my arm and occasional error messages appear. Outside of this, it is an excellent unit, compact and accurate!

I have been using the HEM-773AC for several weeks. To test the accuracy of the device I took it with me when I had a checkup at the hospital. The reading was within 2 for both Dia and Sys, therfore I am quite pleased with the instrument.
Another excellent point is the long guarantee period of the instrument.
I rate it a 5!

I've been using the Omron HEM 773AC for five months and am somewhat disappointed in that the readings, based on what my doctor's office finds, are not accurate. It reads considerably lower than my actual B/P. I can get an more accurate reading by carefully watching the monitor for the "heart beat" indicator to appear after the cuff cuts off flow. But the meter always reads much lower... for example when I observe the "hear beat" return at 130 the meter will read 100 to 110.

The lower pressure I have no way of determining but I suspect
it is always a little low, maybe by ten numbers. On the positive side the unit is easy to use and I am getting an idea
of what raises my B/P.

I think three stars is more than fair for this machine.

This bp monitor is very easy to use. Just put the cuff on your upper arm, as directed, push the start button, remain still and your bp is read. I did, however, take it in to my dr.'s office and the monitor was reading higher than the office reading. The dr. said that's usual for these at home monitors. I like this product and am happy I purchased it. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to monitor their bp at home.
