Being a physician, I can use my Tyco Sphygmomanometer to measure my blood pressure. However, this device is convenient, accurate and easy to use. My parents use this device daily to assess their blood pressure. The amount of time for a reading is about 1 minute. Battery life is excellent through its use of 2 AAA batteries (We get about 6 months of life from it).

The construction is durable. The LED readout is clear to visualize and the buttons are soft to press. The device is made of hard plastic with a velcro enclosure for your wrist. It stores a database of your prior blood pressures which is great, if you forget to write a measurement down.

I find this to be a reliable and durable medical device to check your blood pressure.

I was excited to get this product and used it a few times and it worked well and was so easy to use. Then it began to give very high readings and we would use the standard BP cuff and get a normal reading. This happened so many times, even on people who regularly had low blood pressure, that I decided I could not depend on this unit to give me an accurate reading. I contacted the shipper and they had an excellent return policy and handled it promptly. Maybe the one I had was defective, but in my line of work, I do need an accurate blood pressure. I was disappointed.

It is very helpful in knowing how my blood pressure is doing. I am very pleased with it so far. Through Amazon,com it was half the price of my local private pharmacy that is selling it for $99. plus tax.

This little device is amazing. It takes less than a minute to get a reading, the screen is always easy to read, and it is so comfortable to use just sitting in a chair with nothing to hook up! I love it and it has helped me control my diet, use of meds and environment to bring my blood pressure down to normal without medication.

Bought this 3 months ago. Excellent and accurate readings if used properly. Be sure to check the appropriate arm placement to get the most accurate reading
