For the price I expected a cheap thermometer, that worked. What I got was one that is identical to another I had purchased at a pharmacy for $20. The quality is actually quite good, and the price can't be beat!

I bought this thermometer to check temperatures by placing the thermometer under the tongue. It does give pretty quick read out, however I'm not too sure about the accuracy. I do not have anything to check it against, however, it constantly reads 1 degree below normal body temperature on both myself and significant other. It did come with a chart in the user's guide that has a conversion for testing different parts of the body (ie. arm pit, anus, etc.) but I didn't bother to read it. That's my fault, but a thermometer really shouldn't be that complicated. If it's designed so that the temperature is taken at a certain site, it should be indicated in the product description.

A cool feature that it does have is the ability to easily switch to Fahrenheit or Celcius... But.. I'd rather have a thermometer that is accurate.

A GREAT disappointment, typical of all the JUNK China is delivering to the USA!The thermometer was not only VERY inaccurate, but changed readings from one to another within a one minute time lapse.!
The product was returned for refund!
