Editorial Reviews

· "I always say that this series is so unlike anything you've ever read. I stand by it. Every. Single. Time. Halle, as always, has such a great way of storytelling. She never has a dull moment in any of her books. On Demon Wings is no exception." - Hackaroo's Reviews
· "This was by far the best books of the series. I am truly in love with it. " - Beckoned by Books
· "Karina Halle never ceases to amaze me with how she can make me feel so attached to her characters and captivates me into her story. On Demon Wings is what I believe the most important piece in the puzzle of what happening with Perry and Dex." - Seeing Night Reviews
· "Needless to say this is the best written and scariest so far of the Experiments in Terror series. Halle has completely out did herself and I am on edge to see what will happen next. Why is this book not on every horror lover's shelf? It certainly deserves to be." - A Journey Through the Pages
· "A masterful step forward in a terrific (and sexy!) horror series" - Sara Vallejo Reviews

I have to tell you... I never expected to get hooked on a series like this. The first book in the series was a free download so I thought... what the heck... let's try it. As soon as I was finished I HAD to download the rest. It's kept me hooked the entire time!! On Demon Wings was long awaited (by me) and I read it in a couple hours. I was really hoping for an even longer book but I can understand why the author left things hanging where they did. I can't wait for July for the next in the series! I even got my sister hooked on this series!!! She keeps calling and yelling at me for it! :)

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what we got! On Demon Wings was a perfect title to this book. I don't want to ruin it by saying too much about that!
Perry has gone back home after her last Dex encounter, and life isn't good. She's working in a coffee shop but is having a difficult time moving on. She and her sister, Ada, have gotten closer, and that relationship may just help save her in the days to come. Maximus moves to Portland and wants to get together with Perry to possibly do a show. We see a new side of his character, one you may not be very happy with in the end.Pippa makes a return appearance as well. Be ready for a shocker there when you discover who she really is.As the story unfolds, Dex won't disappoint!
As usual, the end leaves you wanting more.....MUCH, MUCH MORE!
Karina Halle is such a talented author. While some of the subject matter may be too much for young teens (sexual content), the writing makes the story flow so easily one will get lost in the book. She keeps your interest perked at all times with literally no lulls. I recommend the series to anyone who wants to get lost in a story, because I promise that WILL HAPPEN!

Heart wrenching.....soul crushing.....despair....hopelessness....I felt it all with this one. Katrina've done it...AGAIN! I should expect no less from you. I was completely broken.....

In this 5th installment of Experiment in Terror, Perry tries to piece back together her broken heart, reeling from all that happened in Seattle.
Six weeks after leaving Seattle, she is shattered and absolutely defeated. Perry is NOT okay......She no longer has EIT, she no longer has her Dex.

She is trying to move on in life....a new friends. But, her life remains in ruins. Her parents are constantly breathing down her back.....she is broken, loveless, and losing control of her mind. Her only constant is her sister, Ada....her rock....but not even she can save Perry from something sinister that is about to consume her.....
Perry is slowly losing her mind and her sanity. She is beginning to see and hear things that no one else can glowing eyes, growling.

Her dreams are becoming more and more real until Perry realizes, these aren't dreams at all. Perry whole heartedly believes that she is being possessed by a Abby. Whatever this evil is only means her harm and destruction.

Enter Maximus.......(the crowd boos)....the southern red-headed gentleman...the charmer...
Ginger balls makes his return into Perry's life. Now working for Shownet, he tries to convince Perry to come back and host EIT with him as a cameraman. Although Perry declines his job offer....she doesn't have the will power to decline his invitation to dinner. Stupid, stupid girl. Becoming involved with Maximus will only end in more suffering for Miss Palamino.

Have I mentioned how much I love Karina Halle's books? On Demon Wings definitely didn't disappoint. I was lucky enough to win an ARC and finished it in one night. I couldn't put the book down.

The book starts with Perry trying to piece her life back together after what happened with Dex. She got a new job at a coffee shop and is trying to move past everything that happened between them. But a few people from her past show up which makes it more difficult for her to move on. Then some crazy stuff starts happening and Perry starts to lose it. Someone (or rather something) starts to take over her body - she has black-outs and can't remember doing certain things. The only person that believe she isn't literally going crazy is her sister Ada. We also learn more about creepy clown lady which sets things up nicely for the novella Halle is publishing this summer.

Overall, I really liked this book. It definitely focused more on Perry and her dealing with piecing her life back together. We learn more about her family, their past and how Dex, the creepy clown lady and Perry's family are all connected. It hints at it in book 4 but is explained in more detail towards the end of this book. This book has a different feel from the others in the series but I think it's essential nonetheless. The ending was left open ended so of course I can't wait until the 6th book comes out :)

Holy freaking wow!

Another amazing adventure in the EIT series!

At first I was feeling quite let down by Dex's long absence in this book. The story was amazing, Perry was perfectly flawed, Ada was becoming a truly wonderful sister, the horror was horrifying, the sex was wild & crazy ... but with no Dex?
And then, Ta-Da! he heroically shows up, just in time to save the day. Or does he? I am not a fan of cliffhanger endings - but this one doesn't bother me - it's just like added suspense to an already riveting drama.

Love this series. It scares the s*** out of me.
And I am still in love with Dex - even if he is a douchecanoe.
