I think this edition is the best buy among all the choices available for the Kindle because for a low price it offers a good prose translation by Hugh Munro, a Victorian scholar who includes a useful introduction and overview of the contents of the poem, along with William Ellery Leonard's widely reprinted verse translation which preserves the classic elegance of the original Latin.

I think it's wonderful but probably not for the average reader. Just be sure to try a sample before you make a commitment.

Greenblatt's study is compelling in its focus on making connections with the great treatises that have shaped the humanities and humanist thinking.
