I've been hiking in and around St. George for the past three years. So I bought this looking for new hikes.
The pros are:
this book had some hikes I didn't know about
the book has a large number of hikes
the driving directions to the trail heads are very good
The cons
The maps are hard to follow and not desiegn to be real trail maps. Expect to buy additional maps of the area
The narrative is somewhat disjointed and for some hikes required multiple readings.
Overall, a decent book for someone new to the area and Ok if you've done some hiking here.
