This book was purchased for a Contemporary American History, Politics and Culture class. I found the content to be well researched, extremely informative and well written although, it was occasionally biased at times it was still well balanced. A great read for people wanting to learn more about the United States from the Cold War in the 1950's until late 1970's. Don't forget to read the epilogue.
