Mrrooww. "On the Prowl" is certainly a 'really hot book', just as it's described on the back cover! It's also a three-story anthology by Crystal Jordan about a family of werepanthers and what happens when they meet their mates.

"Undeniable" is the first and longest story--which makes sense since Jordan has to set up her world and its rules. Antonio is the new leader of the pride. Meeting his mate should be the best thing to happen to him, right? Well, there's just a couple of problems. She's an outcast who can't shift; and she's not about to let him sacrifice his position in the pride for their love. Silly girl.

"Irresistible" tells the tale of Miguel and Andrea. Miguel is Antonio's second and Andrea is Antonio's sister...should be a match made in panther-heaven. But Andrea still hasn't really recovered from a traumatic sexual attack; and Miguel's 'appetites' aren't exactly something she's willing to admit she needs.

"Indescribable" is the last story about the rowdy twins Ricardo and Diego and their struggle to compromise with 'their' mate Isabel. She's running from one panther who wants to own her...now she's got two!!

None of the stories are 'deep' or necessarily surprising...but they are all really, really hot. While it doesn't make the keeper shelf, it did entertain me during a long and boring flight from California to Georgia! This book contains graphic descriptions of sexual activities with one, two, and three people; including some partially shifted weres. If that will offend you, don't read the book!

Format: Paperback
"Claim Me". Antonio Cruz is the new chief of his Panther shapeshifting pride, His lover Solana wants him to name her his forever mate, but she is not a shapeshifter.

"Take Me". Antonio's older sister Andrea has never found love, but when she meets Miguel she thinks at long last her mate has found her.

"Need Me". Antonio's twin brothers Diego and Ricardo are inseparable until Isabel joins the pride; each wants her as his mate and she wants both twins as hers.

These super interrelated erotic romantic urban fantasies are well written and quite engaging as the world of Jordan makes for a fun heated read.

"Claim Me"

On her way home from the bar she owns, Solana is accosted by three panthers. When another panther shifter comes to her rescue, she is glad to be safe but when she smells who helped her, her heart drops. She smells her mate. There is just one problem, Antonio is the Alpha of his panther pride and Solana is an ex-pride member who is unable to shift thus rendering her childless and unimportant.

"Take Me"

Andrea Cruz left home years ago to escape her abusive father. She has made a name for herself in the fashion world and loves to travel. When she is called back home by her brother Antonio, she knows she must return. She doesn't plan on staying but fate has another idea and it comes in the form of her brother's Second in command, Miguel Montoya. Miguel evokes hidden submissive feelings in Andrea that she has spent years hiding and then to add fuel to the fire, he is also her mate.

"Need Me"

Ricardo and Diego Cruz do everything together. Twins, they share everything - their women included. When a friend of their sister-in-law takes refuge in their pride, Ricardo and Diego are astounded and secretly thrilled - she is their mate and they plan to keep her. On the run from a panther who insisted she was his mate, Isabel doesn't trust very easily but Ric and Diego make it hard not to. They pledge to keep her safe and they do - wholeheartedly.

Crystal Jordan reeled me in with On the Prowl. A compilation of three novellas, On the Prowl is erotic and very naughty. Each and every novella explored the relationship between mates. Each novella was different but the same - blushing more than once I adored every single tale. The men were sinfully handsome and territorial towards their females.

On the hunt for a great shifter book? Let me recommend On the Prowl by Crystal Jordan! Her talented writing + imaginative plots = one heck of a sexy panther shifter tale.

I loved this book--let me tell you why. Characters, characters, characters...she made them loveable and interesting. The romance, tension and steamy hot sex scenes that we have all come to love (or maybe even crave) are abundant. The struggles were believable; the bantering was endearing. And THE TWINS--by far my favorite unforeseen dilemma. What I liked the most was that there were three stories in this book, each of which was masterfully tailored! On the Prowl was very entertaining and a book that I definitely recommend.
