Ths OnAir Creator works for me perfectly-----HOWEVER-----Autumn Wave is now out of business. They went out of business and left ALL existing and new customers high and dry with regards to drivers and software---and support. If you lost your original CD that came with the unit, good luck finding the software and drivers. I happen to have my OnAir Creator installed and it still works beautifully since day one. It will pick up all QAM channels that are not encrypted which means----hardly any (NOT the OnAir Creator's fault). My cable TV provider is Comcast and is without a doubt one of the worst Companies I have ever been associated with. Overnight, they encrypted 90% of all over-the-air channels, except the channels they are required by Law to provide (local stations). Channels such as: ESPN, USA etc, are now not obtainable. Comcast wants even MORE money if you want these channels, you must rent yet ANOTHER CABLE BOX. That is in addition to the HD-DVR that I already rent from them to watch HDTV and Premium channels. Comcast still wants more money. IF you can find the drivers and software, then I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this OnAir Creator, but keep in mind that the "Consumer" loses in every situation these days. BIG Corporations dictate that and Comcast is one of the very WORST ever.

Had other HDTV PC receivers/tuners. The On Air Solution HDTV Creator has the LG 5th generation HDTV receiver chip, a 5.1 dolby digial sound processor and other onboard processors to handle all tv processing and releive the pc from tv processing. I get the most channels with this receiver and excellent fidelity and reception. I am very happy with it. It plugs in and requires no special drivers or software. I can say nothing about the software as I use Media Center only wich works great.

I fried a couple of VistaView tuner cards in my HP Slimline before I found this product. Works great with Vista Media Center. Just as advertised. It may be a little bit more money, but it has worked flawlessly in the two months since I installed it.

I have a ATI Video Wonder TV tuner card that works great as a TV tuner, but I got the OnAir Creator USB HDTV for the DVR function. After downloading all the newest drivers and software, not only do the DVR and delay function not work, but after shutting down my system and restarting, the video and TV tuner inputs won't work. I have tried completely removing and reinstalling the drivers and software but it will still only play files. I should have sent it back immediately but thought I could eventually figure it out. Save your money and time, go with ATI or another established manufacturer.
