Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to read this.

If you knew me, you would know that I look for the best quality at the best price. I try not to skimp on the features and when I bought this GPS receiver about a year and a half ago, I felt completely satisfied with my purchase.

I use TomTom 6 (which I also feel is a wonderful piece of software!) with this GPS receiver on my Palm Treo 650. Usually I turn it on right after I enter the TomTom software on my Treo and the receiver locks on to the satellites and the Treo is getting information via Bluetooth in less than 5-7 seconds. The setup is great...I can even talk on the speakerphone while getting guidance from the navigation. (Answer the phone call, put it on speaker, go to the application folders, fire up navigator again, and you are talking on the speakerphone while getting guidance!)

The battery life on this thing is phenomenal. I use this thing probably 4-5 times a week when I need to find a place to go, etc, and I usually don't need to recharge it for 2-3 weeks. One of the reasons that the battery life is so great is that it is intelligent about using power. When it realizes that the Bluetooth connection is no longer active (You leave the car with your phone or you turn your phone off after you are done with the software)the receiver turns itself off after waiting like 5 minutes.

Another thing that I think is great is that it comes in both black and beige to match the color of your dash. its neat because it doesnt look out of place on your dashboard, but then you can just throw it in your glove compartment when you arent using it (its pretty small, its a little bigger than those small little samsung flip phones and a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes.

Another cool feature that it has is that it comes with both a cigarette lighter connection as well as a home charger (something that you dont see very much these days!) So you dont have to worry about buying extra accessories.

The only quam I have with my setup is my Treo's bluetooth functionality. Basically since you can only connect with one BT device at a time, I cant use my BT headset with it...but thats not this thing's fault.

UPDATE: Someone stole this thing out of the car and I missed it so much, I bought another one...Didn't even need to look at anything else!

When I got this receiver, I was wondering why there was no antenna connector. After I turned it on, I noticed I could even get the signal inside my house. Then, I know why. This high sensitive receiver is amazing.

I have had this for about one year and it works well.
