Wow, this thing is humongous! It's presence alone will serve as a theft Deterrant. If someone crazy enough tries to mess with it, their in for a tough job as this is a 1.2 inch thick beast. Much thicker than a quarter. I hope people buy this product to protect their treasured bike, I highly recommend it. You have more places to lock since it's a cable, a very massive one by the way. You're sure to get a workout carrying this lock around. I use this cable in conjunction with a Onguard Brute STD, and Pitlock anti-theft skewers/seatpost/headset and an ebay alarm for maximum security. I leave my bike with peace of mind and also trusting God.
A few cons are that It takes up alot of space in a backpack. (where else can you carry it?) It's much heavier than most U Locks.

Yikes this thing is a beast. Theres no way anybody is stealing your stuff with this thing on it. Be warned, it weighs quite a bit and isnt exactly the best thing to be hauling around on a bike. Id say it weighs 5-10 pounds. It definitely does its job.

the lock has a plastic lid on the metal part which is not shown in the picture. The lock will not work without this part so the picture must be of a different model.
