Amazon Verified Purchase
I am very happy with my OnPar golf GPS unit. Previously, I used a Sky Caddie SGX. I think that the OnPar device is superior due to 1) its ability to track club performance and 2) its touchscreen functionality. I particularly like being able to measure distances to points on the course using the touchscreen feature. The "try club" functionality is also very nice. Scoresheet input is easier and faster on the OnPar compared to the SGX. I know that the OnPar has a reputation for a difficult set up and freezing. I had some issues setting it up, but the OnPar technical support was very responsive and helpful. I have not had any significant issues with the unit freezing on the course. While it occassionaly freezes, so did the SGX. The Sky Caddie SGX is a little more accurate on distances and its companion website for tracking statistics, Club SG, is better than OnPar's. I use the OnPar on the course and have continued my subscription to Club SG to track stats.
