I pull this book out every time I start a new project. It offers great blocks with 5 different size options. That was the sell for me, math is not my thing! I've owned this book for years and I still love it. I have all of my quilting ladies buying it, because they love what I come up with.

There are so many original blocks in the this book with many patterns I've never seen before. The beginning of the book has the colored pictures of the blocks, and the next section has each block's instructions in 6 different sizes. I refer to this book often.

This book and the other two in the series are must haves for quilters, especially those who like to design their own quilts. I love the fact that they give cutting instructions for mutliple sizes and templates for the odd bits.

This has a lot of very usable patterns and easy to follow instructions, the pictures leave a little to be desired but it is overall a very good resource for beginning quilters as well as those with more experience.

This is a wonderful basic book of traditional quilt block patterns. The instructions are clear and pictures colorful and easy to follow. For quilters like me who love the history of quilts and appreciate the interesting names of block patterns, this is a book you will use and enjoy.

I bought this used book from Amazon for my wife. It has a great number of designs, ideas, and instructed patterns for quilting. She loves it. The used book was as advertised, excellent and a much better price than new. Very happy with purchase.
