Great Rock Fusion Instrumental Guitarist shows off his chops, tastefullness and versatility in this blend of rock, fusion, blues, metal and bluegrass. There's also a great alternative/progressive song showcasing Ray's lead vocal ability. A must have for guitar players and lovers of the guitar.

OMWF is a mostly instrumental guitar record in the likes of Jeff Beck at his very best and I can also detect the influence of Joe Satriani here and there. But unlike many guitar shredders Ray add his own signature to the music something both inventive and tasteful. It's eclectic music covering the entire spectrum of rock music from blues to metal through pop, jazz and progressive rock. Ray has also done an excellent job on the technical side of things for this great self-production. Highlight of the disc is "Ray's Stew" showcasing Ray's virtuosity and setting him on a par with the best shredders of this world. Special mention also goes to the frenetic "Thirteen What?!", the soulful "Slow Grind" and the acoustic "Sitting Pretty". A varied collection of great guitar tracks sums it up. Buy!

Ray DeTone is joined by Steve Morse's drummer ,Van Romaine and Miles Davis' keyboardist , Adam Holzman on his latest CD, Strange World. This guy smokes on the guitar , the tunes are great and the production -stellar!!! Once More ...With Feeling!!! is definitely a disc you must own to see how this artist got from point A to B without being repititious and sacrificing his standards.
