Book Description

February 2001
The author, a retired miltary chaplain, provides an account of his thirty year relationship with the U.S. military. He recalls and shares many dramatic and poignant incidents that occured during two tours in Vietnam with combat units, a drug testing incident in German during which he was nearly court-martialed and discharged from the service, and many other experiences during his long years of service. The book provides an honest appraisal of his service as a chaplain during a controversial period in American history.

Editorial Reviews

Review

A fascinating book to read of a real chaplain-servant of God. Thanks... should be a best seller. -- Retired Minister

A well-written, fact filled memoir. -- TROA, May 2001

From the Publisher

Some have stated that the chapter related to the faulty drug test in Germany during 1982-3 reads like a mystery and is by its-self worth the price of the book.
