This product is amateurishly produced and contains very little real information for the price. I have bought several of these books, and have spent over a hundred of dollars on books on this subject (mostly from Amazon btw). This CD ROM, despite being highly rated by others, is the ONLY product I returned... that's how bad it was in my opinion. Moreover, the HTML/E-book production was relatively bizzare, and their choice of backgrounds, fonts, etc. made the product difficult to read in many areas of the CD.

In short - don't buy this product.

Excellent resource for getting started and succeeding with online auctions. Great technical support, too. I emailed the author and got an immediate response.

I just bought my first computer about a year ago and was glad to see a publication that was easy-to-read and not too complicated. The technical advice that the CD offers was worded so that both new users and seasoned users can follow and enjoy. Even better than that were the results I got by following some of the author's suggestions for finding items to sell on eBay and other online auctions. Who knew that there were auctions at Mini Storage facilities? At one of these sales, I bought a Rolling Stones coffee cup for .25 and sold it the next week for $35. I am hooked! Thanks Michael!!

Comprehensive and VERY easy to follow. Excellent information for those that want to auction just a few items online as well as for those who want to make a business of online auctioning. Author provides helpful interactive links that allow users to connect right to the internet and follow along.

I had a ton of junk in my attic to sell, and I'd heard about eBay, but didn't really know how to get started. I'm so glad I got this CD-ROM first, because it was so easy to follow, and I was able to get my antiques on the Web within a week. There were some neat tricks that I never would have thought of, that I know have brought me a lot more bidders. I've thumbed through some of the books, but it's just not as easy to find information. The interactive index takes you where you want to go in a split second. I really appreciate this CD.

I found this CD easy to use. I am a beginner and am was impressed by the ease of navigation. The information presented was very helpful and presented in a non complicated manner. I would reccommend this product for beginners. It definitely helped me. The author describes a number of ways to find things to sell on Internet auctions, and I've used his advice and been quite successful with my new auctioning business.

I have to agree with the other author who gave this CD one star. It's very amateurish, and looks like it was produced at someone's home. ...you're much better off looking elsewhere for a reference. The samples are very, very basic, and the background does make certain links hard to see. The author should have also used spellcheck before burning the CD. I'm very disappointed!

More for the newbie who has heard of auctions but hasn't started any activity. I thought it was quite well written, and while I'm not a fan of CD-ROM books (I like to read in bed), it was easy and quite pleasant to read. My quibble is that (to me) the information was nothing new, in fact it all seemed pretty much common sense - do your research, buy cheaply, use a bit of HTML (two rather basic templates are included), be polite to customers. It may be useful, but a few hours spent browsing on eBay are cheaper!
