Can't go wrong with this EP,

Diamond Nights is one of the best bands I've heard in a long time. This EP is great. 5 awesome songs and no filler at all. Diamond Nights combine the rock sounds of the 70s and 80s without sounding cheesy. These guys are no joke at all and are definatly pure rock and roll. Pretty much every song is capable of being a hit single and I think it's only a matter of time before we start hearing some of these songs on the radio. The upcoming full length album should be incredible, but in the meantime make sure you check out this great EP.

Um.. what can I say... with roots out of Fitchburg MA, and NY, the roots of both have grown and blossomed into what every band inspires to be... or something like that.. this is band that WILL be huge. every song is catchy in an old school rock way... you can not take this album out of your player, digital or otherwise... Do you like to rock out? do you like to sway your hips? do you like casio keyboards? then youll like this.. if not YOUR DUMB!!!

Do yourself a favor and buy this EP now. As a matter of fact, buy a couple of them before these guys blow the roof off the rock world. Diamond Nights is the real deal and will not be kept a secret for long. Five outstanding songs are on this EP. None of them disappoint. Get on board with these guys from the beginning, you will not regret it.

How cliche is that heading, you know you like it. Anyway, my boss pops this record in today, and just off the first song and the cover I was very enticed, by the end of the short EP, I was hooked, definately buying it. It's got that great classic bachman-turner overdrive feel, and it'll definately have you singing along in your head. Anyway, if you don't like it you can chew me. (isn't that a great odd vulgar thing to say, you know you like it)

Why are these guys not on every rock radio station?,

I discovered NYC's Diamond Nights because I was familiar with the work of the guitar player/keyboardist Dr. Laakso (formerly of the Wicked Farleys), and I'll be damned if this isn't one of the best rock EPs I've heard in a long time. These guys bring some tight-sounding, football-playing, head-banging party music that evokes all your classic rock faves like Queen, Aerosmith, and the Cars, while still sounding completely original. Do I also hear a touch of some Ozzy creeping into the vocals of "The Girl's Attractive"? And watch out for the synths on that song, there's something not right about them...somehow subversive, eerie, and downright brilliant. "Buddies" has the catchiest sing along ending I could imagine (and music that could have been written by Rush for some long-lost 80s sitcom theme).

Devoid of originality. Anyone with a couple Devo or Cars albums doesn't need this CD. They will find any way possible to repackage old sounds as "new" since the children of today haven't bought anything older than themselves.
