This book is a great find for any current of former Marine. Greenwood tells it like it is and like it was. Following his 22 year career in the Corps from boot camp, through the Frozen Chosin with Chesty Puller, to recruiting duty, and retirement. He shares his views on everything from women in the military to being a member of the NRA. The book is broken down into 2-4 page stories and anecdotes of his career, and placed in chronological order. So you can read straight through, or just pick it up and flip through to find a single passage. I came across this book at a goodwill, and it really is a treasure.
