A dramatic finale to the trilogy,

Having been crowned 'Champion of Martial Arts', Sam returns to Canton to take up his official post of local Naval Commander and marry his long-suffering girlfriend. All is not well at home however and Sam finds himself battling Japanese pirates, along with more governmental corruption. In terms of martial arts action, this installment is the probably the lightest of the trilogy but this is made up for by a dramatic, tragedy-laden story, with a terrific central performance from Too-Siu Chung. His emotive performance ranges from sadness, to heroic to vengefulness; helping the trilogy reach a dramatically satisfying, if somewhat down-beat, conclusion.

In this third and final film of the exciting Martial Arts Trilogy, Sam The iron Bridge is now Governor of Canto. When the raiding pirates threaten to take over the Southern border, Sam and his trusted fighters must confront the enemies in a fierce battle to the death. One Arm Hero is a powerful and satisfying conclusion to the epic saga.
