The life story of a visionary and a pioneer,
By tmistry@umi.com (Ann Arbor MI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Edition of One: The Autobiography of Eugene B. Power, Founder of University Microfilms (Hardcover)
Eugene Power has impacted the information age tremendously. As a pioneer in "low tech" microfilm production he was the first to make mass information archiving and aggregation possible. His accomplishments and his company will continue to impact the information economy and the distribution of information (power) for many years to come. This pragmatic autobiography tells the story of a man ahead of his time and serves as a testament to the omnipotence of persistence and determination. Valuable knowledge for anyone interested in economic history and the transition from the industrial to the information age.
