This is a delightful book for infants! Our 12 month old twins love it - especially because of the "mirror" at the end. They can hardly wait to take turns having it read to them. I have purchased several copies as gifts for other young children which have also been well received. Highly recommended!

My daughter (2 years) loves this book. She can recite the book from cover to cover and delights in finding new words to describe the lively animals. She never gets enough of the surprise at the end and always wants to read the book again so that she can look at herself in the mirror. An excellent choice to start youngsters on their reading journey.

I used to work as the children's coordinator at our local public library, and this book was a favorite for the age 1-3 year crowd. Now that I have my own children, this is the must read book before bed. My 14 month old "reads" this book to me every night. The simple text and cute pictures are perfect. She says the words., then does the animal sound. Ath the end, she kisses the baby goodnight and sometimes has a conversation! This is a must have on your shelf!

This is a wonderful, simple book with gentle art and two word phrases on each double page spread. It is a good start for very beginning math: the concept of one and one to one correspondence.

The hook is the final page. Children will want to hear this over and over.

A simple little book, that seems like fun. What really sold me is that my daughter started 'reading' the book to us, after having it read to her a few times. Plus, she has so much fun reading this book. After deciding this was the perfect book, and that we should get a copy for ourselves as well as some extras for gifts, I was surprised to find it out of print. For a two or three year old, this strikes me as a classic book that should never go out of print!

I bought this book for my son when he was 4 months old. It is a book that is great for all ages. The illustrations are wonderful.

My daughter found this book at the library and every time we go she wants me to read her at least three times! I'm now going to buy it for our own library!

Great book! Even the very young ones feel like they can read as they can "read the animals" Our little 2 year olds love that they see themselves in the mirror and are part of the story. Sorry to learn that is out of print.

The bind of the book was TAPED together! The seller said it was in good condition, but it is far from being in good condition.
