Ms. Doerken's compact and information-filled book will startle, terrify, and yet provide HOPE. If we as individuals can become constant reminders to our government of the dangers of nuclear weapons--all those that exist and the potential ones to be built--we MAY avoid complete annihilation. In addition to the history and tremendous resources provided in this book, there are also "things to do" leading us to action. This is especially important now, when we have a president who talks about creating new nuclear weapons. We already possess many more than the rest of the world combined. Read this book now and send one to your government representatives.
