This live CD is just brilliant. The vocals are perfect and the guests included are pretty awesome too. The band plays most of their songs concerning Ariel's story. If you like Kamelot, you must buy this! And if you haven't heard them yet this might be a good start.
The DVD recording of this same concert is exceptional too, so I recommend buying it.

I bought both the DVD and CD. It's THAT good.
Many songs are actually more powerfull than the studio version. The selection of songs is also very good.

The DVD is sleek, with many cameras capturing the show. Very high quality.

Highly recommended for any Kamelot fan.

This is a great sounding live CD. Khan's voice is in fine form here, as is the entire band. I can't wait for this thing to hit DVD. It was suppose to be out already, but they keep pushing it back. It looks like December 5th is now the official date.

If you can't decide on which Kamelot CD to purchase, this is the one. Consider this a 'Best of' live CD. Recorded in Oslo, Norway, Kamelot is one of those rare groups that perhaps sounds even better live than they do on their studio releases. This 2 CD collection includes great live versions of 'The Black Halo', 'The Edge of Paradise', 'Center of The Universe', the ballad 'Abandoned', 'The Haunting' (with Simone Simons of Epica), 'March of Mephisto', and 'Karma'. If you are struggling deciding between the One Cold Winter's Night CD or the DVD, forget it - get both.

If you like Kamelot, and progessive metal, you'll love this, Roy Khan's vocal are at the top of his game, and Casey Grillo's drumming is outstanding and it's all captured on disc for everyone to enjoy. I've been a big fan for quite a while, and this is one of the best live cd's that I have ever heard.

This is what you expect from some of the most down to earth rockers, you will find out there. They are committed to their craft and they do a wonderful job of executing it. Kawn's vocals, how he pours himself into every song, so much power and passion. Thomas's and Barry, if there were two gods of the strings, it would be theses guys, and Oliver, the haunting effects that roll from his keyboards, and Casey one of the most talented drummers its been my pleasure to see perform. These guys bring so much energy and power to each and every song they perform, and if you think this disk is something you should see them live, but if you can't grab a copy of the DVD it is well worth it, I bought both. :)

This is phenomenal. I've seen Kamelot twice, and both times the electrifying energy and stage presence was incredible, so I thought it'd be impossible to capture that kind of experience and properly reproduce it, but I was wrong. Khan sounds fantastic as always, and Kamelot put on a stellar show. A must have for any Kamelot fan, or any metal fan in general!

So I bought this double CD set by accident. I meant to pick the DVD version of this concert, which is also marvelous. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box and I got the CD set instead of the DVD. I am not into live albums at all. I didn't bother returning it merely because of my laziness. One day I decided to give it a go in my car...and WOW...what a wonderful sounding album! This band is so tight live and I can honestly say that a lot of these songs here sound miles better than the studio versions (ex. Forever, When the Lights are Down, Center of the Universe, Karma) I think this album was in non-stop rotation in my car for at least 4 months straight!
This is a must have for any die hard Kamelot fans and it's also a great introduction if you're a new fan.

For lovers of metal music, Kamelot must not escape your radar. I only discovered them on Youtube, as their records are not available in stores here in Singapore. This is a recording of a live show they did in Oslo, which is also released as a DVD.
They show that they can play live, which really can't be said of many bands. Kahn has one of the most powerful and charismatic vocals in metal and the other musicians prove their mettle as well.
It's hard to find another live performance to match the standard of this one, other than Queen's Live at Wembley and Iron Maiden's LIve After Death. If you love metal, get this. If you have no idea of who Kamelot is or what they represent, this is the perfect introduction.
Love it, absolutely love it.

Kamelot is one of those bands that are good in studio, but awesome live! This record is perfect from track 1 to track 18(first to last). All of Kamelot's best songs are there, and I claim that every one of them is better live than studio. If You plan to buy Your first Kamelot-record, this should be it!
