To answer A gamer from PITTBURG,US's reveiw. Any and Every PS memory card works with PS2. But only with PS games. PS memory cards only save PS games and PS2 memory cards only save PS2 games. GET IT!

It always pays to go with the original product accessories. Sony's memory cards are not only cool looking now that they have the new transparent colors but they are hands down better than any aftermarket fake! Stick with the original and you can never go wrong!

This is the memory card you want...no questions asked.

However, there may be a time where you need to format this memory card on a SCPH-70000 model PS2 (the slimline). I received my card from this vendor brand-new today and tried to format it on the browser, and it wouldn't work on either slots of my ps2. HOWEVER, when I tried to play thru the first stage of Megaman X4 and THEN tried to save my file on my apprearingly "unformatted" Sony Memory card, it saved, and therefore formated my memory card in the process and will save not only this game on my memory card, but any other PlayStation_One game as well.

In the end I thought I couldn't trust ps_one stuff at all (accessories or games), but with a little bit of aptitude, I figured out how to fix things the way they're supposed to be....GET SONY; IT WILL NOT FAIL!

it's quality. It's a memory card and it works, I am

Hey, I was prompted to write a review, so I did!!

If you have never used a memory card for your Playstation PS One, then you are in for a treat. They come in Emerald Green, Blue, and Crimson Red. Of course, you can by the standard white. But different colors are cool and are the more updated memory cards for the system. This little thing slips into (hear the "click") the left entry of the Playstation PS One and never falls off. I played Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare, Aladdin: N. Revenge, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire with it and was able to save a spot in the game(s) fifteen times. One spot of memory can be automatically erased by selecting that certain numeral/title for your new spot to save a game, and yet save all other spots too. No need to start a game from the very beginning anymore. Just select the spot you want to begin at. Say you just finished one hard task on the damn game, and you don't want to do it again. If you picked up an item in your gameplay that is used to save a game or the game lets you know you can save your game now, do it! You will never have to complete that segment again (unless you need to pick up weapons). You can start the game fresh where you left off, or thereabouts. YOU CAN FINALLY WIN THE GAME! I used the PS One Crimson Red Memory Card as an "X-Key" memory card when I use the "CODEBREAKER" for PS One by Pelican Accessories.

There is no question that this is a awsome color but it is still the same old standered playstation memory card. You still have a hard time finding space on the card when you want to save if you have an expansive game collection like me and I would assume many other people. I still recommend one of those bigger memory cards where you can store games and not have to delete one of your precious saves.

Product arrived before scheduled and is working famously for my PS2. No problems. Would buy from again. Not exactly sure why the review calls my product a game when it is clearly a memory card. But, oh well. I won't even attempt to make sense out of an internet user error.

I frequently find myself drawn to the PSX when I get a craving to replay Final Fantasy VII, Silent Hill, Chrono Trigger, Metal Gear Solid, or Syphon Filter. I needed more memory space since I don't like overwriting previous saved games and this card has worked fine so far. No problems retrieving data, no glitches at all.

The memory Card has been very useful - my son really is very happy with it!
