More About the Author

Writing about myself is not as easy as writing the stories of my heroes and heroines. You see, my life is nowhere as interesting or as exciting. I grew up in a large family (eight, 5 boys and 3 girls) and learned to read at a young age (my dear mama's influence, may her soul rest in peace). I read anything I could get my hands on, and when I couldn't, I read the bible. Amazing how engrossing those Old Testament stories can be.

I later discovered Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Then in my teens, I stumbled upon my older sister's stash of Mills & Boons and discovered the eighth world wonder, romance.

SHATTER THE SKY was my first read. Yeah. I know it's weird I can still remember the name nearly thirty years later. It meant that much to me. I can't remember who the author was. Janet Daily? Maybe. I become a romance fan overnight.

Fast forward to high school. I jokingly told my best friend I'd one day become a writer and she laughed. I didn't seriously consider writing with publishing in mind until I finished my PhD in chemistry and was expecting my second child. So now I have published three books, completed four more and a YA fantasy, and I keep learning and growing as a writer.

When I'm not writing, I spend time with my family. We reside in a picturesque town in Utah, surrounded by lush vegetation and mountains. Summers are hot, spring and fall colorful, and winters cold. I've been here for seventeen years now and love it. It's home. We're now a family of seven.

One day at a time is an eye opener. I really enjoyed the way Bella portrayed her characters. It is very touching mixed with love, romance, drama and deceit. Angela McGee wants to make Jerry Taylor responsible for her sister's death. Her sister was drunk when the accident occurred. I know how Angela feel, but I can not agree with her that Jerry was the cause. Angela was a deceitful person when she went to Jerry's home in Montana. ONE DAY AT A TIME is very touching and I have recommended it to a friend. It is easy to get lost reading the book. It should be read by romance readers everywhere.

After her sister's untimely and horrific death in an automobile accident, which also left her nephew in a coma, Angela McGee is determined to prove that baseball legend Jerry Taylor is the person responsible. Even though Jerry was in the car at the time, it was his wife, in a drunken stupor, that caused the accident, which also claimed her life and left Jerry temporarily blinded.

Angela infiltrates Jerry's home in Montana under the guise of his new assistant, where she hopes to find proof of his guilt. During her stay there, Angela comes to realize two things - never believe everything you hear, see, and/or read, and that things aren't always as they seem.

ONE DAY AT A TIME is a wonderful story with just the right mix of love, romance, deceit, drama, and even a little bit of history. For a quick escape from the pressures of everyday life, this debut novel is one that I would recommend to romance readers everywhere.

This book put me back to reading. It has the most beautiful story. Its touching and warms the heart. Once I started reading it I could not put down..and while reading it I totally got lost in book. Its very captivating and good to read..I would recommend it to anyone. Once you start reading you will not stop.
