Book Review 1,
This review is from: One Day at Horrorland (Goosebumps Series) (Paperback)
This book is one of my favourite Goosebumps books.I think the Goosebumps Series can really give the readers an exciting advantage. This book is about the Morris family - Lizzie, her mum and dad,her brother luke and lukes friend clay. They wanted to go on a trip to the zoo gardens but her dad forgot to bring the map. They got lost and looked everywhere, they found a place which called "Horrorland". So they decided to go there. After they arrived there and got out the car, it suddenly exploded so they went in for help and saw some people dressed in costumes called "horrors" and they said they'd fix the problem. So they went in and went on the coolest and scariest rides. But at least, they discover that this "Horrorland" had no exit. I think this book is very good and it can scared me so much .It mixes comedy and suspense and adds several twists along the way.And this book has a excellent climax. It can help to improve my composition skill.

I was addicted to these books when I was younger and it wasn't until I was majoring in education in college that I figured out why. They were interesting with bizarre plot twists that most 9-12 year olds don't think about and they were short (usually between 110-130 pages). I could read the whole thing in a day.My parents also didn't have a lot of heartache with buying me a new book because these are relatively inexpensive (in the neighborhood of 3-5 bucks each). R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books aren't scary, just kind of creepy. There aren't graphic descriptions of murder and mayhem. Just some ghosts, werewolves, or potions. The main character is alive in the end, and the final chapter resolves everything. **Keep in mind, R.L. Stine has other books that aren't in the "Goosebumps" series that tend to be a little harsher when it comes to hauntings and plot. They are written more for the 12-14 age group and are longer (around 150-200 pages).

One of the best in the series,

Finding themselves lost on a trip to Zoo Gardens Theme Park, Lizzy and Luke, their parents and their friend Clay end up at Horror Land. Things start to go wrong from the moment they arrive. First the car explodes leaving them stranded in a theme park with a group of monsters whose costumes look strangely real. Then there are the actual rides. At first Lizzy, Luke and Clay think they're pretty cool, and then they start to get scary. The house of mirrors, the doom-slide, the terrifying ride in a coffin. Soon Lizzy and the others are wondering if they will ever be able to leave Horror Land alive....This was one of my favourite Goosebumps books. I read this four years ago when I was eight and loved it. It mixes comedy and suspense and adds several twists along the way. I recommend it to all fans of the series and nine to twelve year olds particularly.

This story was pretty intriguing. I am 22 years old and I am studying to be a math teacher, and one of my assignments for a class was to read a children's chapter book. I decided to read this one, because I have read an R. L. Stine book in the past, and I love scary movies and books. I thought some of the parts were pretty sappy, but I was surprised how much the story intrigued me and made me want to keep reading. There are many references to numbers of things within the book, which can be used to help teach your kids or students about math. I do not recommend this book for really young readers, because it would probably be too scary for them. However, I do recommend it for grades 2 or 3 and up, especially if it is an assignment close to Halloween. The children should enjoy it immensely, that is if they are into scary stories.

Forgot your season ticket.,
This review is from: One Day at Horrorland (Goosebumps #16) (Paperback)
Me and my brother read this one at the same time. It starts out slow but it turns into one of those 'we took a wrong turn but look where we ended up' type book. And what a perfect area to get lost in--an amusement park. An amusement part gone horribly wrong. I love the way they use everything in the park from the house of mirrors all the way to the roller coasters. But the end of the book is the best part. Enjoy!

This book is about the Morris family who went to a very scary amusement park. The horrors who they thought were just dressed up were really monsters. My favorite part was when they were on the doom slide. I really liked this boook!

Goosebumps Everywhere!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Day at Horrorland (Goosebumps Series) (Paperback)
Review for"Goosebumps" by R.L. Stine **** (One Day In Horror Land) The Goosebumps series is a wonderful set of books. Recommended for the ages of 8 to 13 but read by everyone, the series' scary stories will keep you on the edge of your seat as you want to turn the next page for the final conclusion. They describe in great detail terrifying monsters and mystical creatures that one has only dreamed of. I personally cried for my mom when I read "One Day In Horror Land". These books are exciting and suspenseful while encouraging young readers to grab a copy of a book of a different genre (different genre than the regular school books). R.L. Stine has a great mind of horror stories. I definitely suggest these books for a shockwave of excitement and fear for all readers alike. By The Goosebumper

One day at HorrorLand,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Day at Horrorland (Goosebumps #16) (Paperback)
I think the book Horrorland was a good book, because for one this was a very interesting book and for two it had a lot of action for the ones who like action books. The book Horrorland was about two kids that survive a night at Horror Land. The students really were to attend a Theme park called Wet Willy's, but when the theme park was closed they turned back around to go home and on there way back they saw another theme park that they hadn't saw on there way there. They entered the mysterious park with extreme cautions. The people there seemed very nice. Then the little boy stopped at a ride, he slid down the slide and stayed on forever... I would highly request that you read this book to my peers.
