this album is amazing. i used to think redding was the only otis, now i know better. ive seen otis a bunch of times now and ive listened to the album a million times and i never get tired of it. the songs are old school well written clever, geniune, heart felt diddys. do your heart and soul good and play you some otis.

I just saw otis and mary gauthier in a accoustic set in lafayette, indiana and otis just blew me away. I bought his cd's. he autographed them and almost seemed embarresed someone would ask. he is very down to earth and his set was amazing--a must buy in my opinion and will go out of my way to see him again. !!!!!

I hadn't heard of this guy until I attended WoodSongs radio hour here in Lexington. When he appeared on stage I wasn't sure what I was in for. When he started to belt out a note, I was immediately floored, what a voice and the lyrics...they are really something to relate to, think about and just simply enjoy thier simplicity. Fantastically smooth and raw all at the same time. Worth your penny!
